The 5 to Watch Awards are an annual celebration of Canadian sports business professionals who have achieved remarkable career success prior to their 40th birthdays. Past winners include some of the industry's biggest names.

Any member of the public can nominate a candidate although candidates cannot nominate themselves.  All submissions will be reviewed by the Nomination Review Team in order to create a shortlist. The finalists are then ranked by a Selection Committee comprised of senior members of the sports business community. The five candidates with the most votes will be declared the winners of this year’s awards.

This year’s nominations will be open from 12 p.m. EST on Monday, January 27 to 12:00 a.m. PST on Friday, March 13
